February is Heart Health Month. According to the American Heart Association,
1 in 3 women has some form of cardiovascular disease and heart problems are the
leading cause of hospital stays for men. We can all take care of our heart by
following a few simple steps:
1.
Get regular medical checkups
2.
Maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly
3.
Reduce saturated fats, trans fats and
cholesterol in your diet
If we take good care of our heart, our heart will take good
care of us.
